Replacement Back Panel Power DC Jack Port for SNES Jr Super Nintendo 2 SNS-101

This is for a 3D printed back panel for SNS-101 Super Nintendo Jr or Super Nintendo 2.

The DC jack on most SNES will break over time with use, this back panel replaces the DC jack and allows you to use a normal 9V DC Center Negative power adapter instead of the more expensive SNES power adapters.

NOTE : This is in no way an OEM part, and this is a workaround as Nintendo does not make original parts for 30+ year-old systems.

With that being said, this requires some modifications to the back pin of the DC jack.
The workaround for this is to cut a bit of the back pin on the DC jack with some flush cutters to make it fit in the opening also, please ensure you have taken the solder completely out of the holes.


This also gives you peace of mind that you will have a much stronger DC connector and not the flimsy SNES power jack.

The back panels available on ebay are only for the original larger Super Nintendo and not the Jr or Mini (SNS-101).

This is 3D Printed in high-quality PLA and comes with a replacement DC board-mounted jack.

Please make sure that you have a 9v DC power adapter making sure that you have the correct polarity.

The way this will fit in, you will need a 5.5x2.1 DC adapter with Center Negative.

You will receive a 3D printed back panel and DC barrel jack.
