RGB installation service, this includes a THS7374 RGB Amp and power LED to go on your PC Engine, Duo, and Duo-R consoles.

RGB Video is superb quality over RF, composite, or even S-Video. RGB gives you the best possible quality from a PC ENGINE. Perfect colors, perfect clarity, worth every penny. Great for use with an XRGB device, RGB to Component converter, or a Monitor that accepts RGB. The board that I am using sets the low pass filter to 'OFF' by default and does not offer the ability to enable the low pass filter. This helps ensure the sharpest image/picture quality possible. Along with this upgrade, I will also be replacing the 4.7uF 16v Ceramic capacitors located on the board to eliminate jail bars noted in Tim Worthington's mod ( http://etim.net.au/av-driver/pcebars/ )

The PC ENGINE is still able to output composite video through the 8 PIN DIN on the side. This will be installed straight from the video processors and then directly soldered to the newly added 8 PIN PORT on the side so it will bypass any signal loss. No more trying to play your PCE games with a fuzzy image!
Also for white PC Engines, I will install a 9-pin mini din (Sega Genesis model 2 type) since that will best fit the unit.

Please make sure your equipment likes to play nice composite video as sync before purchasing, as different devices can be very finicky with what they'll accept.

YOU MUST SUPPLY YOUR OWN SCART CABLE/RGB CABLE! (unless you purchase one below)

The console must be 100% functional before choosing this upgrade. If the console is not working I also provide repair service for them as well but you must contact me first. Sometimes if the unit has a blue or gray screen it could be a faulty RAM chip. If no power, it could be the power fuse, 7805, or caps. You would need to contact me first to arrange a repair on it.

1 - After your Purchase (Buy it now). You will receive the shipping address.
2 - Please pack it securely and provide a tracking # in eBay messages.
3 - The console will be upgraded with RGB amp board and 8-pin din (9-pin mini din Genesis model 2 also available for white pc engines) and power LED. (Power LED is added at the buyer's request and only certain spots can be used.)
4 - Upgrade will only take 1-2 weeks.
5 - The console will ship back via the option that you choose at checkout. (priority mail or standard mail)
