MSX 2 Button Gamepad Controller Joystick Works with Contra / WonderBoy

I was tired of my MSX controller having issues every time I wanted to play it so I decided to 3D print my own Gamepad housing and get some nice resin d-pad and buttons. I have 3D printed this in PLA with 20% infill to make it sturdy. The d-pad and buttons are printed with a resin printer they are cleaned and cured with a clean and wash system.

Due to the overwhelming response for requests to have a 2 button controller/gamepad, I decided to design my own gamepad for the MSX and offer these for purchase. This is for people who are looking for a better way to play their classic MSX games without paying $100+ for an old joypad.

This has a custom-built PCB inside with the proper wiring to allow 1 and 2 button game play on the MSX / MSX2 systems. This works with MSX 2 button games such as Contra, Wonderboy, and many many more.

This is wired up using the standard MSX joystick pinout.

Please note that this will not work on Atari 2600, 7800, SMS.

All parts on this are brand new - new PCB, new conductive silicone button pads, new 9-pin din 6ft cable and the case is 3D printed on an FDM printer, and the d-pad and buttons are printed with resin.

Please note that using Genesis or Sega controllers on MSX could damage the port or the system as those are configured to use different pinouts.
